In particular, during the term of the Party Cell, the Town Military Command advised the Town People's Committee to mobilize forces to protect and ensure safety before, during and after the important political events of the country and the locality.

By the end of 2024, Loc Thang town had 281 militia and self-defense comrades, reaching a rate of 1.38% compared to the population. There are 80 Party members in the militia force.

Comrade Nguyen Van An added: The militia force is regularly trained. The number of soldiers mobilized for training each year is from 72 to 120, reaching 35 to 50% of the total number of militiamen. The annual training results are 100% satisfactory, of which 75% or more are good or excellent, the unit is assessed as good or better. Therefore, the militia force of Loc Thang town has achieved many results in competitions and sports events organized by superiors. The training content of the militia force closely follows the practical situation of the locality, contributing to the successful implementation of the set goals and tasks.

In addition, the Military Party Cell has also led the unit to perform well the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army. Therefore, the annual military enlistment rate of Loc Thang town always reaches 100% of the district's target. The quality of young people joining the army is constantly improving in both health and education, the rate of young people volunteering to join the military service is constantly increasing every year...
