On the morning of April 18, comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission and delegates of the 15th National Assembly of Lam Dong province had a meeting with voters in Ward 4, Da Lat city, before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, representatives of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province informed voters about the main contents of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly; an overview of the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2025 of the whole country and Lam Dong province; anti-corruption work in the first quarter of 2025 of the province and some important results of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to be divided into 2 phases. Phase 1, from May 5 to May 28; Phase 2, from June 11 to the morning of June 28. This is a session with many important contents, related to socio-economics, national defense and security, and building the country's political system.

In particular, the session will consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and amending laws related to amending the Constitution, serving the streamlining of the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18 of the Party Central Committee.

In particular, 13 draft laws were considered and approved to continue serving the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system; 15 draft laws and 7 draft resolutions were considered and approved to serve the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; 7 draft laws were commented on; 13 draft laws were submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision on the merger of provincial-level administrative units and other important contents.

At the meeting, voters made recommendations on issues related to the management of business and sales activities on e-commerce platforms; high-tech fraud; the quality of medical examination and treatment using health insurance; policies for non-professional forces at the commune level after the merger; waste related to textbooks; facilities and teachers meeting the requirements of teaching and learning two shifts a day; and priority subjects for buying social housing.

Many voters suggested that it is necessary to pay attention to building a regional and inter-regional transport system, especially expressways; and review related planning after the province's merger .

Voters in Da Lat city highly appreciate the Politburo's decision to exempt tuition fees for students from kindergarten to public high school and, according to General Secretary To Lam's statement, to move forward with exempting hospital fees for all people, so that every Vietnamese person can truly have a prosperous and happy life.

Some opinions and recommendations of voters at the meeting were received and explained by Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc according to his authority; at the same time, he noted them to continue to have a solution.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, comrade Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged and highly appreciated 12 opinions including 19 practical issues of voters of Da Lat city.

He analyzed and clarified more contents related to the quality of medical examination and treatment by health insurance; policies for non-professional forces at the commune level after the merger; management of business activities on electronic trading floors, handling of black credit; dealing with the ancient villa fund; planning of intra-regional and inter-regional traffic networks; merging provinces and communes, etc.

Regarding the work of preventing corruption and negativity, he said that for a long time we have been doing it systematically, and it has become a separate theory about this activity. “Building a culture of integrity, free from corruption and negativity; when it becomes a culture, honor is the most sacred and noble thing,” the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission emphasized.

Regarding the issue of handling counterfeit goods, fake goods, and trading on e-commerce platforms; high-tech crimes, comrade Phan Dinh Trac informed that the authorities have been and are taking drastic measures to handle them; regulations on e-commerce and e-transaction activities; network security and safety have been and are being tightened and continue to be promoted to overcome limitations and difficulties; both prevention and strict handling.

He highly appreciated the voters' responsible opinions regarding the planning after the province's merger and added that after the province's merger, we will review all socio-economic development and infrastructure planning in the area; identify key development areas to adjust the planning accordingly.

The Delegation noted voters' opinions and recommendations to continue recommending the National Assembly and relevant authorities to consider and resolve.
