According to initial information, at around 4:00 p.m. on May 14, people discovered a fire on the 3rd floor of a 4-story house on Hung Hoa Street (Ward 6, Tan Binh District).
At this time, the people inside the house ran outside shouting. Many mini fire extinguishers were mobilized to put out the fire but failed. The fire caused chaos in the residential area.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Police of Tan Binh District dispatched vehicles and officers to the scene.
Part of the road through the fire area was blocked off. The electricity was also cut off to ensure safety. Police broke the windows on the third floor and sprayed water to put out the fire. After more than 30 minutes, the fire was basically controlled and extinguished.
According to local residents, the house that caught fire is a company that specializes in electronics. Police are currently investigating the cause and damage of the fire.
