Chau Thanh handed over 19 solidarity houses

Each house has an area of ^​​38m2 , the construction cost is from 60-90 million VND/house, of which the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang Province supports 60 million VND/house, the rest is mobilized by the commune and contributed by the family; officers and soldiers of the armed forces support labor days.

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chau Thanh District organized the handover of houses to 12 households in Mong Tho B Commune.

At the house handover ceremony, Chau Thanh District Party Secretary Lam Minh Cong congratulated the households on having new houses; at the same time, he hoped that when the households have stable housing, they will try to increase production, develop family economy, and escape poverty.

On this occasion, the Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee presented each household with a fan, the Chairman of Chau Thanh District People's Committee presented 10kg of rice to each household, the Military Command of Chau Thanh District, the People's Committees of Mong Tho B and Mong Tho A communes presented gas stoves and rice cookers to 19 households receiving house handover decisions.
