Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and representatives of the Vietnam Women Journalists Club received the delegation.

At the meeting, comrade Le Quoc Minh gave an overview of the development of domestic and international press, the innovation trend of modern press; shared about the activities of the Journalists Association in uniting, gathering members, improving skills and expertise; the role and contributions of female journalists to the development of Vietnamese press.

The President of the Vietnam Journalists Association also highly appreciated the role of the Ha Tinh Women Journalists Club in carrying out political tasks, contributing to enriching the press life in the area. At the same time, he hoped that the Ha Tinh Women Journalists Club would continue to innovate and be creative, contributing to the development of the press in Ha Tinh and the whole country.

Previously, the Ha Tinh Women Journalists Club visited the Vietnam Press Museum. Here, club members visited the exhibition spaces and listened to an introduction about the formation and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press with many rich and vivid documents and artifacts.

Established in 2017, the Vietnam Press Museum currently preserves and displays more than 35,000 typical artifacts, demonstrating the historical process of Vietnamese press, the companionship of press with national history. In addition to rare documents and artifacts such as: Gia Dinh Newspaper - the first newspaper published in Quoc Ngu script, Thanh Nien Newspaper - the first revolutionary newspaper of Vietnam, the museum also displays many valuable artifacts, which are pages and equipment of revolutionary journalists through the ages.

The visit and meeting is an opportunity for the provincial press teams to remember the tradition and history of the development of Vietnamese journalism. Thereby, it adds pride and love for the profession, stimulates the spirit of creativity and innovation in journalistic works, contributing to the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.
