CarOn opens a chain of repair and warranty workshops for VinFast electric vehicles

CarOn Holdings, the owner of a nationwide chain of auto service centers, has signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation to become the officially authorized unit to repair, warranty, and maintain VinFast electric cars.

According to the cooperation agreement, CarOn Holdings aims to develop a nationwide network of repair, warranty and maintenance service workshops for VinFast electric vehicles. In October, the first 10 CarOn service workshops serving VinFast electric vehicles will officially come into operation.

CarOn service workshops all meet the requirements and standards for facilities, machinery, equipment and human resources set by VinFast, ensuring the provision of consistent service quality with genuine workshops of authorized VinFast dealers nationwide.

During the cooperation process, VinFast will support staff training and technical consulting to help CarOn quickly expand the system, meeting the increasing needs of VinFast electric car owners.

CarOn currently owns a chain of auto service centers with diverse models and scales of operation, including 2S centers specializing in electric cars, CarOn Standard chain (CarOn-S), auto market system (CarOn CMP), and accessories and spare parts trading business.

According to the plan, in addition to 10 CarOn service workshops that will go into operation in October, by the end of 2024, VinFast and its partners will open a total of 150 more service workshops across the country to meet the increasing demand of electric car owners.

VinFast is aiming to deliver 80,000 electric cars in 2024, making Vietnam one of the countries with the largest number of electric cars in circulation in Southeast Asia.
