On March 30, the duo won the Vietnam International Challenge 2025 (Hanoi). This is the first men's doubles title for Vietnam at the prestigious tournament with a history of 25 years. To win the title, Hoang and Manh passed the preliminary round, defeated No. 3 seeds Tori Aizawa - Daisuke Sano (round 1), then continued to defeat No. 4 seeds Kazuki Shibata - Naoki Yamada (Japan) in the tense final match (21-19, 15-21, 21-15). This is not only a personal success for the two players but also an important milestone for Vietnamese badminton in the international arena.

Born in 2003 in Lam Dong, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh have trained together since childhood. In the same recruitment group that year, many young players had to stop for different reasons, but this duo still persistently pursued their passion in Da Lat City. Gradually, both asserted themselves and became excellent players of the Lam Dong badminton team.
After a period of playing for Lam Dong province, in 2014, both were called up to the Vietnam youth team and continued to work together in a new and challenging environment. Under the dedicated guidance of the coaches, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh continuously improved, especially in the men's doubles event. A year later, they officially wore the Vietnam national team jersey, starting their journey to compete and represent Vietnam in international arenas.
In 2020, the names Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh began to be noticed after winning the gold medal at the National Excellent Tennis Players Tournament. Since then, they have continuously affirmed their talent, surpassing many seniors to rise to the No. 1 position in men's doubles in Vietnam in 2024. This success is the result of the persistent training of the two young players. As for Dinh Manh, in addition to the medals he won with Dinh Hoang, he also won many medals in singles.
With the championship at Vietnam International Challenge 2025, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh not only affirmed their No. 1 position in the country but also opened up opportunities to go further in the international arena. On the BWF men's doubles rankings, this duo is ranked 139 and was once ranked 115. This duo is expected to become the pillars of Vietnamese badminton, bringing home more titles in the men's doubles event in the future.
