Viettel The Cong Club is struggling to borrow the field again

"After the next two matches of round 20 and 21, The Cong Viettel will have to borrow another field due to an event at My Dinh Stadium. Before round 24 of LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 on May 24, the tournament's organizing committee will re-evaluate the quality of My Dinh Stadium," a member of the V.League organizing committee provided information to VTC News.

Accordingly, The Cong Viettel Club will have to play on the reserve field in the matches against Song Lam Nghe An and SHB Da Nang in the 20th and 21st rounds of V.League. My Dinh Stadium continues to host music events and the army team will have to temporarily leave.

Recently, the quality of My Dinh Stadium continues to be a matter of particular concern to fans. At the National Cup, Mr. Le Quang Trai - Head Coach of HAGL team said that My Dinh Stadium is too bad and causes injuries to players. Currently, we are still continuing to monitor and closely urge The Cong Viettel Club to further improve the quality of the field.

If the maintenance and upgrading plan for the field is not guaranteed, the tournament organizing committee will take stronger and more drastic actions to ensure professional quality for the matches," the above official provided.

Thus, if the quality of My Dinh Stadium is not improved, VPF will ask The Cong Viettel to choose another stadium for the match against Hai Phong in round 24.
