Cao Loc: Launching the campaign "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" and holding a spring meeting between the government and businesses, cooperatives, and business households in the area - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 1, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Loc district organized the launching ceremony of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the district by 2025.

In the past time, implementing the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses according to Resolution No. 188, dated October 25, 2024 of the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Cao Loc district has paid attention to directing the implementation through specific support policies, especially 3 National Target Programs and socialized resources, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

Currently, in Cao Loc district, there are 511 dilapidated houses in need of new construction and repair, of which 359 need to be newly built and 152 need to be repaired, with a proposed funding requirement of over 26 billion VND. Up to now, Cao Loc district has completed the construction of 18 new houses; is repairing 130 houses (91 houses have been completed, 14 are being repaired, 7 houses have not been repaired, 18 houses that have not been repaired have been removed from the program) according to Resolution No. 188 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. In 2025, after review, Cao Loc district still has 363 households belonging to poor households, near-poor households, and meritorious people who need to repair and build new houses.

The content called on all levels, sectors, armed forces, businessmen; each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee and all people of the district to promote and spread the tradition of solidarity, "mutual love and affection" of the Vietnamese people, through practical actions, join hands to successfully implement the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for people in the district by 2025...

At the launching ceremony of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", agencies, organizations, officials, civil servants, employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, businesses, and philanthropists in the district participated in donating a total amount of over 1 billion VND.

Immediately afterwards, the People's Committee of Cao Loc district organized a spring meeting between the government and enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the district in 2025.

Attending the conference were representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches, the Provincial Business Association; leaders of Cao Loc district, representatives of relevant agencies and units, and representatives of 95 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households operating in the district.

Currently, in Cao Loc district, there are 496 enterprises; 57 cooperatives; more than 5,000 business households. In recent times, despite many difficulties and challenges, enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in Cao Loc district have made constant efforts to improve their production and business activities. Along with that, Cao Loc District People's Committee has implemented solutions to accompany and support enterprises, cooperatives, and business households such as: strengthening dialogue, removing obstacles in production and business activities of enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the area; effectively implementing policies to support the development of enterprises, cooperatives, etc.

The efforts and proactiveness of enterprises, cooperatives, business households to overcome difficulties and rise up, and the support of the district, have made important contributions to the overall socio-economic development in Cao Loc district. Notably, in 2024, the district achieved and exceeded 14/15 annual plan targets; budget revenue reached nearly 576 billion VND; production value by economic sector shifted in the right direction, reaching over 8.5 billion VND; the district's competitiveness index ranked 5/11 districts and cities, up 3 places compared to 2023...
