Lieutenant Colonel Kieu Khanh Dung, Chief of Political Affairs of Coast Guard Region 2, gave a speech at the conference.

At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Kieu Khanh Dung, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, together with officers of the Da Nang City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, disseminated and mobilized the Co Tu ethnic people of Hoa Bac commune about the Party and State's viewpoints and policies on ethnicity and religion; and about the sea, islands, and the Coast Guard force.

Representatives of the Da Nang City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Coast Guard Region 2 Command presented gifts to the people.

The working group of Coast Guard Region 2 organized propaganda and mobilization to eliminate backward customs, preserve and promote national cultural identity, build village solidarity, solidarity, and help each other for mutual development; propagate and mobilize people to actively participate in crime prevention and control, not to stockpile weapons, trade and transport drugs, live a "good life, good religion", not to believe in evil religions, strange religions, not to participate in illegal proselytizing, and to raise vigilance against the plots and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces.

The working delegation took a souvenir photo with local leaders and ethnic people of Hoa Bac commune.

On this occasion, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 presented 30 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) and 300 national flags to disadvantaged households. Although the gifts were not large in material terms, they were the sentiments and hearts of the officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 2 towards the ethnic people of Hoa Bac commune.
