The mineral mines that have been and are being exploited in the province are mainly common construction material minerals, small and medium scale, exploited by open-pit method. The KTKS units in the province strictly comply with the provisions of the law on minerals, land, environment, and water resources.

However, some units still exist, with limitations such as not submitting periodic reports on KTKS activities; exploiting outside the permitted exploitation boundaries; not collecting statistics through weighing stations; not installing weighing stations at the place where raw minerals are transported out of the mine to monitor and store related information; exploiting minerals beyond capacity... In addition, some localities still have illegal mineral exploitation, especially exploitation of landfill soil, sand, and gravel from river beds.
