Ho Guom Theater is located at 40 - 40A Hang Bai (Hoan Kiem District), started construction in October 2021, and was inaugurated by the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee today (July 9).

The inauguration ceremony of Ho Guom Theater on July 9 took place solemnly. With its prime location, this will be the place to organize political, cultural and artistic programs of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City (conferences, seminars, cultural and artistic events...); organize art performances for domestic and foreign affairs; organize political, cultural and social events as an international conference center.

Hoan Kiem Theater is the first theater in Vietnam to be equipped with international standard equipment, capable of meeting diverse performance requirements of many art forms, from opera, symphonies, musicals, to modern music performances, seminars, television shows...

The sound equipment here is all custom-made to match the theater design, adhering to the highest standards.

The large auditorium can accommodate 900 guests and the small auditorium can accommodate 500 guests. The large auditorium is decorated with a stylized image of a familiar rice flower, while the small auditorium is designed like a blooming flower with lines of spreading sound waves.

The sound system includes an Array speaker system and Constellation speakers, embedded in walls and domes, designed in the shape of rice leaves with small holes like honeycombs, helping the audience enjoy sound from every angle.

Under each audience seat is equipped with an air-conditioning vent to help distribute the temperature evenly.

The main hall of the theater is inspired by the starry night sky, with 3,000 LED lights hanging from the ceiling.

Every design detail of the lobby roof system and the interior of the theater recreates a part of the history of the Vietnamese people through traditional patterns symbolizing Vietnamese culture such as the sun, cranes, Dong Son bronze drums, traditional musical instruments...

VIP reception rooms on each floor, with private space, overlooking the entire stage

Hoan Kiem Theater will become a cultural symbol, a symbol of tourism in the capital and Vietnam.
