One way people find their own outlets is to divide the oranges into bags, each bag 10kg, and sell them at very friendly prices.

As reported, after a period of slight increase to 6,000 VND/kg, for more than a month now, the price of oranges in the West has continued to decrease sharply, currently only 2,000 - 5,000 VND/kg.
Mr. Nguyen Van My has sent an article to Tuoi Tre Online to share more about this issue.
Figure out how to sell whole bags
These days, newspapers are reporting that oranges from the West are dirt cheap, a kilo is only a few thousand, sometimes not enough to buy them. Unfortunately, if you don't pick them, the oranges will fall all over the garden, and the plants will be infected with pests. Pick them to clean the garden, every penny saved is enough.
This year I often buy oranges near my house, opposite Lotte Mart, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Each time I buy about 5kg, the price fluctuates around 10,000 VND/kg.
Last week I went to buy, I was surprised because the seller did not sell retail, the usual way of dumping in bulk for customers to choose, but only sold wholesale, 10kg bags, neat, much cheaper, from 40,000 - 50,000 VND/bag.
Many people are a bit annoyed because they think they are being forced to buy, but thinking back, they find the method very good. Oranges are selected based on price, put in plastic bags with holes punched for ventilation, the price is only half compared to buying retail, choosing each fruit.
Ngoc and her husband, from Tra Vinh, came to Saigon to make a living, selling oranges at the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho - Nguyen Thi Thap, said: "Before, we sold about two hundred kilos of oranges per day. Now, we sell wholesale, and some days we sell more than half a ton. The profit is less, but because we sell more, we make up for it. Both the seller and the buyer are healthier and benefit more."
I think this is a great way to sell wholesale. Buy a 10kg bag and keep it in the fridge for a few weeks.
Like my family buys a 10-kilo bag, if there is too much to use, we share it or give it to our neighbors. This method helps to immediately increase the orange output, contributing to helping farmers in the West hold on and overcome difficulties. Thinking about it, I admire the people in the West.
Buy a few tens of thousands of oranges, squeeze and drink until tired
The fruit growing area in the Southwest accounts for 70% of the country. Agricultural products, especially fruits, flood the market every year, but calls for "rescue" are rare.
They know they cannot rely on rescue all year round, so they have learned to save themselves to survive. Western oranges are sold in Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast provinces and some South Central provinces at wholesale prices of only 4,000 - 5,000 VND/kg. After deducting the cost of harvesting and transportation, the gardeners certainly have little left, sometimes even negative capital.
Every day my whole family drinks squeezed orange juice. I feel sorry for the farmers in the West. Before 1975 and during the subsidy period, oranges were a precious fruit, used to visit the sick, to nourish the body, better than the functional food today.
Now, oranges are widely available, you only need a few tens of thousands to have orange juice to drink until you're tired.
Sharing with the people in the West, Ho Chi Minh City people only need to help farmers in the surrounding area consume their products to help them overcome difficulties.
On the contrary, we also hope that people will aim for products that follow VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards so that consumers will wholeheartedly support them.
That is also a way to support and help each other in life. Further, we need to think about opening a factory to can orange juice and other fruits, as well as exporting agricultural products.
The world market is vast. Before going out to sea, you must swim well in your hometown's rivers and canals.
