WATCH CLIP:

On the evening of December 23, a representative of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3 (Team 3, Traffic Police Department) said that the unit's working group on duty at Km188 (Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway Toll Station) had just used a special car to take a child to the emergency room.

Specifically, at 6:30 p.m. the same day, the Working Group of Team 3 was on patrol, controlling, and handling violations at the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway Toll Station (Km188) when a passenger bus stopped. The driver reported that a child had a stomachache and had fainted.

Upon receiving the notification, the Task Force immediately inspected the vehicle and found a boy unconscious, showing signs of life-threatening danger. The Task Force Leader notified the team command and used a special vehicle to transport the boy and his family to the National Children's Hospital for emergency treatment.

Because the time coincided with rush hour, the road was congested, and the traffic police had to continuously use loudspeakers to ask other vehicles to give way. After receiving timely emergency care, the child has overcome the critical condition and is being treated at the National Children's Hospital.

The child's family said that the patient's name was N.D.K. (3 years old, residing in Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province). When the child showed signs of stomachache, the family took a bus from Nghe An to Hanoi for examination. On the way, the incident happened.

"We are very grateful for the timely support from the traffic police and would like to thank the traffic police officers and soldiers," the family representative shared.
