Novaland increases remuneration for Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon, CEO of Vinhomes receives income of nearly 18 billion

Many companies in the real estate and construction industry have announced their audited financial statements for 2024, revealing the income of their management leaders. The remuneration at Novaland has also been revealed, with Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon's remuneration having been increased.

Vinhomes CEO receives income of nearly 18 billion VND

Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (VHM) has just announced its audited consolidated financial statements for 2024. In the report, Vinhomes said it spent VND17.1 billion to pay remuneration to members of the board of directors, a slight increase compared to VND16.7 billion last year.

In addition to billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, the remaining members of Vinhomes' board of directors all received remuneration. The highest amount paid to Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa, chairman of VHM, was 6.85 billion VND. Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh - another member - received nearly 3.14 billion VND.

Two independent foreign members at VHM, Mr. Varun Kapur and Mr. Mueen Uddeen, both received VND 1.44 billion.

For the board of directors, Vinhomes spent a total of VND 47.47 billion, down nearly 40% compared to 2023. But Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang - general director - received VND 17.81 billion, up 28%.

The remaining VHM management members did not disclose details, only saying they received a total of more than 29.65 billion VND.

Regarding business performance, Vinhomes recorded consolidated net revenue of more than VND102,323 billion, down slightly compared to last year. Consolidated profit after tax reached more than VND35,072 billion, up nearly 5%.

At Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company (NLG), the company spent VND38.6 billion on remuneration for leaders, higher than the VND32.7 billion in 2023.

Of which, Mr. Lucas Ignatius Loh Jen Yuh, CEO of the group and CEO of Nam Long Land, received a salary of nearly 12 billion VND last year. He was appointed CEO of NLG from the end of March 2024.

AGG Chairman Receives Salary Increase Nearly 5 Times

Many other companies in the real estate and construction industry have also announced their audited financial reports for 2024. Transparent data in the report shows that the remuneration and income of some leaders has improved compared to 2023.

For example, at An Gia Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (AGG), Mr. Nguyen Ba Sang - Chairman of the Board of Directors - received a salary of nearly 2.3 billion VND last year, nearly 4.3 times higher than the previous year. Similarly, members of the executive board also received higher income than the previous year.

On the contrary, many other members of the board of directors received a sharp decrease in remuneration compared to the previous year, such as Mr. Do Le Hung, Mr. Vu Quang Thinh, and Mr. Dao Thai Phuc received VND 388.8 million, VND 250 million, and VND 250 million, respectively. Meanwhile, in 2023, these three people all received the same amount of VND 533 million.

Novaland increases remuneration for Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon

The trend of increasing income for leaders also took place at No Va - Novaland Real Estate Investment Group Joint Stock Company (NVL). In which, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon - Chairman of the Board of Directors - received 1.2 billion VND in remuneration in 2024, an increase of 100 million VND compared to 2023.

Mr. Hoang Duc Hung, an independent member of the board of directors, received 600 million VND, 2.8 times higher than last year.

Mr. Pham Tien Van and Ms. Nguyen My Hanh - two other independent members of the board of directors - kept their remuneration unchanged, receiving 600 million VND/person.

Another member of NVL’s board of directors, Mr. Dennis Ng Teck Yow, received a salary of VND200 million, 3.3 times higher than the previous year. In addition, he also received a salary of nearly VND4.3 billion as general director until November 1, 2024.

Mr. Duong Van Bac - the new general director of NVL since November 2024 - received 678 million VND in salary after 2 months of taking on the new assignment. Previously, when he was the deputy general director and financial director until November 2024, the group paid nearly 2.6 billion VND.

At DIC Corp (DIG), Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong - who holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors until August 19, 2024 and Chairman of the Board of Directors from August 2024 to present - received a salary of nearly VND 2 billion. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - Vice Chairman - also received a salary of VND 1.5 billion, an increase of VND 200 million compared to the previous year.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tin - General Director - received salary, bonus and other benefits of nearly 1.9 billion VND, also about 220 million VND higher.
