Ho Chi Minh City With a vegetarian diet and gym habits, Dang Pham Phuong Chi has a slim, toned body at the age of 29.
Phuong Chi is currently a KOL (influencer, famous on social networks) and works in an office. She once attracted attention when she entered the top 12 of The Face Vietnam 2017. At the age of U30, Chi still maintains a youthful appearance and a balanced figure by maintaining exercise and eating healthily.
Vegetarian
Chi's reason for becoming a vegetarian is to develop her compassion in the spirit of Buddhism. She mainly consumes starch, protein from plants and fruits. In addition, Chi also adds whey (a strong protein), plant omega-3, calcium and vitamins to avoid malnutrition and loss of strength when being a vegetarian.
In addition, women have the principle of eating "high carbs" before training to have energy for training and eating "high protein" after training to avoid muscle catabolism.

According to experts, vegetarianism helps prevent or reduce cholesterol intake. Vegetarians can reduce the risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease as well as the burden on the liver. Vegetarian foods are easy to digest, so this diet can help increase metabolism, balance the microflora and reduce inflammation and intestinal infections. Vegetarians burn more calories than non-vegetarians.
In addition, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), people who eat more than 400 grams of fruits and vegetables per day can limit cardiovascular diseases, stomach cancer and colorectal cancer.
However, an improper vegetarian diet can have negative effects on the body. For example, anemia, protein, vitamin B12, iron, calcium deficiency causes osteoporosis, reduces creatinine levels in muscles, and menstrual disorders in women with high physical activity levels.
Therefore, doctors recommend that a daily vegetarian diet must ensure adequate and balanced intake of 4 groups of nutrients: starch, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals in appropriate proportions and supplemented with substances such as vitamin B12, omega-3, vitamin D, iron, zinc, and calcium.

Gym
Previously, Chi often had the habit of doing cardio and jogging, but her body was still not toned and had a lot of excess fat. Therefore, 4 months ago, she switched to the gym.
Currently, Chi spends 3-4 days a week working out at the gym for 60-90 minutes, alternating upper and lower body exercises. After each session, she does light cardio to increase her endurance.
Many studies have shown that gym exercises stimulate hormone production, so that muscles can absorb the necessary amount of amino acids and become firmer. When practicing gym regularly and with the right technique, the body's metabolism runs more smoothly, and the amount of calories burned increases significantly, thereby helping to lose weight.
