The hydrometeorological agency warned of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in many districts of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue.

Provinces from Ha Tinh to Thua Thien-Hue locally have very heavy rain, in some places over 400mm.

Many roads in Thuan An, Hue city are still flooded after storm number 6.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from early morning on October 29 to the end of the night on October 30, the area from Southern Ha Tinh to Thua Thien-Hue will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain with rainfall from 100-200mm, in some places over 400mm; warning of the risk of localized heavy rain (over 100mm in 4 hours).

In addition, on the day and night of October 29, the Southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, some places over 50mm.

In the past 24 hours (from 1:00 a.m. on October 28 to 1:00 a.m. on October 29), the above provinces had heavy rain, some places had very heavy rain such as: Kim Son Lake (Ha Tinh) 261mm; Lam Thuy (Quang Binh) 346.4mm; Ta Long (Quang Tri) 238.8mm; Hong Trung (Thua Thien-Hue) 152.8mm.

Soil moisture models show that some areas in the provinces are close to saturation (over 85%) or have reached saturation.

The hydrometeorological agency warned of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in many districts: Cam Xuyen, Huong Khe, Huong Son, Ky Anh, Ky Anh town (Ha Tinh); Bo Trach, Le Thuy, Minh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Quang Trach, Dong Hoi city, Tuyen Hoa, Ba Don town (Quang Binh); Cam Lo, Da Krong, Gio Linh, Hai Lang, Huong Hoa, Dong Ha city, Trieu Phong, Quang Tri town, Vinh Linh (Quang Tri); A Luoi, Phong Dien, Phu Loc (Thua Thien-Hue).

The risk of natural disasters due to flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow is level 1; in Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces it is level 2.

Flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence caused by heavy rain or water flow can have very negative impacts on the environment, threaten people's lives; cause local traffic congestion, affect the movement of vehicles; destroy civil and economic works, causing damage to production and socio-economic activities.

Local authorities need to pay attention to checking the flow bottlenecks and vulnerable locations in the area to have preventive and response measures.

At sea, on the day and night of October 29, the Gulf of Tonkin and the northern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; waves 2-4.5m high; rough seas. The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ninh Thuan and the western sea area of ​​the central East Sea will have southwest winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; waves 2-4m high; rough seas.

The sea area of ​​Quang Tri and from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, the sea area west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa) has southwest wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8; waves 2-3m high; rough sea.

In addition, on the day and night of October 29, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the western sea area of ​​the North and Central East Sea (including the Hoang Sa sea area); the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand, there will be showers and thunderstorms; in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves.

Weather in the regions during the day and night of October 29, the Northwest is cloudy, with rain in some places; in the Northwest, the clouds will decrease and it will be sunny in the afternoon. Early morning and night will be cold. The lowest temperature is from 17-20 degrees Celsius, some places below 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from 25-28 degrees Celsius, some places above 28 degrees Celsius.

The Northeast region is cloudy with some rain; in the southern plains and coastal areas, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day. The Northeast to North wind is level 3, in coastal areas level 4. Early mornings and nights are cold, in mountainous areas it will be cold. The lowest temperature is from 18-21 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it will be below 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from 23-26 degrees Celsius, in some places it will be above 26 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi capital is cloudy, with scattered showers in the morning; later there will be rain in some places. Northeast to North wind level 2-3; early morning and night are cold. Lowest temperature from 20-22 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 25-27 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue are cloudy, the North (Thanh Hoa - North Ha Tinh) has rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms; the South has moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. North to Northwest wind level 3-4, coastal areas have gusts of level 6. Early morning and night are cold. Lowest temperature from 18-21 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 23-26 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan are cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Lowest temperature ranges from 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature ranges from 28-31 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands region is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the South, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, concentrated in the afternoon and evening; thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is from 17-20 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from 24-27 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, concentrated in the afternoon and evening; thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is from 23-26 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from 28-31 degrees Celsius, some places above 31 degrees Celsius.
