At MWC 2024, European consumers finally received the long-awaited top-end version of the Xiaomi 14 series. It seems that only the standard and Ultra models are eligible for launch, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro remains exclusive to the Chinese market.
Xiaomi 14 has been widely known after the product was launched in China in October 2023. However, Xiaomi 14 Ultra is not yet available in any market and it seems that the Chinese brand will choose MWC 2024 as the place to officially introduce the product before launching the global market.
Recent reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be a high-end device dedicated to photographers with Leica's signature optical system and four sensors all with a resolution of 50 MP. In addition, the phone also comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and 90W wireless fast charging.
Huawei Pocket S2
Huawei could use MWC 2024 to introduce something new. It won't be the much-anticipated P70 or Mate 70, but the new foldable Pocket S2.

Rumor has it that the model will have the same design as its predecessor but will feature an updated version of the Kirin 9000S chip inside. Given the hype and buzz that Huawei’s proprietary chip has generated, the foldable Pocket S2 could be one of the stars of MWC this year.
Nothing Phone (2a)
Nothing itself is a brand that attracts a lot of attention. At this event, the affordable Nothing Phone (2a) will be revealed.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 chipset and the Glyph interface. It is unclear whether the product will be attractive enough to consumers based on its price, similar to what other smartphones from Nothing have launched before.
HMD Global
Recent HMD Global has announced the end of its relationship with the once famous and successful Nokia. In this new phase, HMD is expected to launch two new smartphones under its own name.
