How to avoid traffic jams during Hung Temple Festival?

To proactively ensure traffic order and safety in the Hung Temple area and on roads in the province, Phu Tho Provincial Police have divided traffic for vehicles not going to the Festival to avoid congestion. The time to start implementing the division of traffic is from April 13, 2024 to April 18, 2024 (ie from March 5 to the end of March 10 of the lunar calendar). At the same time, two options will be implemented, including the intra-provincial division of traffic and the remote division of traffic.

Traffic diversion plan for intra-provincial vehicles not going to the Festival

People traveling from Doan Hung district to Hanoi will travel along National Highway 2 (Km85+00) to Phu Ho intersection (Phu Tho town), turn right onto Provincial Road 315B, turn left onto the intersection with Ho Chi Minh road, cross Ngoc Thap bridge to Huong Non intersection (Km 22+200), turn right onto National Highway 32, cross Trung Ha bridge to Hanoi and vice versa.

Vehicles traveling from Ha Hoa, Thanh Ba districts, Phu Tho town to Hanoi, Vinh Phuc will follow Provincial Road 320 or 314 to Phu Tho town, follow Hung Vuong street (35m road) to IC9 intersection to Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway to Vinh Phuc, Hanoi and vice versa.

If people go from Viet Tri city (inner city) to Tam Nong and Thanh Son districts, they will follow provincial roads 324 and 320 through Phong Chau bridge to Tam Nong and Thanh Son and vice versa.

For vehicles transporting goods to Thuy Van Industrial Park (Viet Tri City), take National Highway 2, cross Hac Tri Bridge, turn onto National Highway 32C, go to Cho Nu intersection, follow National Highway 32C to Km 10+800, turn right onto Truong Chinh Street to the industrial park and vice versa.

Vehicles traveling on Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway turn off at IC7 (Km 49) and follow Phu Dong street to the intersection with Truong Chinh street, then follow National Highway 2 to Km 64+500 (Phu Tho Petroleum Company), turn right onto Le Dong street to Thuy Van industrial park and vice versa.

In case the vehicles turn out at IC8 (Km 54), follow National Highway 2 to Phu Lo junction (Km74+800), then follow Provincial Road 325 to Tien Kien junction, turn right onto National Highway 32C. Go to the intersection with Provincial Road 320, turn left onto Provincial Road 320, 324, go to Cho Nu junction, turn left onto National Highway 32C (Viet Tri city bypass) to Km 10+800, turn right onto Truong Chinh Street to the industrial park. Then when exiting, follow Truong Chinh Street to the intersection with National Highway 32C (Viet Tri city bypass), turn right onto National Highway 32C, go to the 5-way intersection, turn right onto the old National Highway 32C to Tien Kien junction, turn left onto Provincial Road 325, then follow National Highway 2 to Km71, turn left onto IC8 to get on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.

Vehicles traveling from Hanoi to Yen Bai, Lao Cai will follow the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway and vice versa. Vehicles traveling along National Highway 2 to Hac Tri bridge (Km 53+200 National Highway 2) turn left and follow National Highway 32C (Viet Tri city bypass) to Cho Nu intersection, turn left onto Provincial Road 324, 320 to Phu Tho town. At Truong Thinh intersection (Km 34 Provincial Road 320), vehicle owners turn right onto Provincial Road 315B to National Highway 2 (Km 85+00), turn left to Yen Bai, Lao Cai.

From Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Nghia Lo (Yen Bai province) to Hanoi, people follow National Highway 32 to Km 78+850 intersecting with Ho Chi Minh road (Co Tiet commune, Tam Nong district), turn right to follow Ho Chi Minh road. Continue to Km 22+200 intersecting with National Highway 32 (Huong Non commune, Tam Nong), turn right to follow National Highway 32 through Trung Ha bridge to Hanoi and vice versa.

Vehicles traveling from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong to Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Nghia Lo (Yen Bai province) will follow National Highway 2 to Km 26+500, turn left onto Vinh Yen city bypass. At Km 9+800, turn left onto National Highway 2C, cross Vinh Thinh bridge, then turn right onto National Highway 32 to Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Nghia Lo (Yen Bai province) and vice versa.
