Conceived 20 years ago but just completed now, singer Ngoc Anh 3A released the song and MV "Bustling Spring Comes" right at the beginning of 2025.
Singer Ngoc Anh tell Tuoi Tre Online she rarely makes MVs, but Spring is coming is an MV that she is "very passionate about". She wants to dedicate this MV not only to herself but also to her family, relatives, village, homeland and all the children of Vietnam.
The MV recreates the atmosphere of Tet coming to spring in a village, as well as the joy of family reunion. The MV has very familiar images such as communal house roof, flower market...
Singer said she wrote Spring is coming since 20 years ago, but only recently finished writing the second verse.
During her years in a foreign land, she always missed her homeland. The love and care of her family and relatives for each other was her spiritual support, and it was also something she always remembered and was proud of.
"That's what made me want to make a MV dedicated to my homeland," Ngoc Anh said.
On the other hand, the singer discovered that her father's health - People's Artist Hoang Van Khiem - was starting to weaken and his memory was declining. Fearing that his father would become weaker and weaker and would not be able to participate in her MV, she asked her younger brother - singer Anh Khang - to do something fun this Tet holiday.
MV was filmed at Trang An, her paternal hometown. The singer and her younger brother worked together to come up with ideas for the MV and invited their family to join in.
Her younger brother took on the rap part, her father performed the couplets he wrote himself; at the same time, he took on a role recreating the image of national heroes as if watching the footsteps of their descendants in the MV.
In addition to the family, the MV also features many actors and staff. Vietnam Tuong Theater, where Ngoc Anh was imbued with traditional art since childhood.
On the day of filming, the whole village was like having a festival and many people told her that it was an unforgettable memory in their life.
Ngoc Anh shared, "I don't think about how many million views the MV will get, I simply want to make an MV to convey my feelings for my homeland."
