Specifically, the number of social insurance participants reached 19.365 million, an increase of 11.39%. The number of unemployment insurance participants reached 15.560 million, an increase of 9.2%. The number of health insurance participants reached 93.937 million, an increase of 3.16%. The amount of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance collected by the end of October 2024 increased by 12.81% compared to the same period in 2023.

Director of Hanoi Social Insurance Phan Van Men said that in Hanoi alone, the targets and tasks are higher than the same period in 2023. The number of people participating in compulsory social insurance is over 2 million people; voluntary social insurance is 99,658 people; health insurance is over 8.1 million people.

Total social insurance and health insurance revenue reached VND 55,474.9 billion, an increase of 14% over the same period in 2023, reaching 82.53% of the plan assigned by Vietnam Social Security. By the end of October 2024, the rate of late social insurance payments subject to interest was 2.61%. The City Social Security has resolved 530,951 beneficiaries of social insurance and unemployment insurance regimes, safely and promptly paid monthly pensions and social insurance allowances to 592,542 people with an amount of VND 37,036 billion, the rate of payment through personal accounts reached 98.84%.

In the past 10 months, Hanoi has ensured health insurance benefits for over 10.9 million health insurance visits; in the first 10 months of 2024, 3,692 inspections have been conducted. In the past 10 months, Hanoi Social Security has received and processed 9.45 million records.

From now until the end of 2024, General Director of Vietnam Social Security Nguyen The Manh requested the entire industry to focus on implementing 8 tasks and solutions:
