Khanh Hoa Newspaper surveyed and built houses for two poor households in Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district.

On the morning of April 18, Khanh Hoa Newspaper coordinated with the People's Committee of Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District to conduct a survey of 2 households in difficult circumstances in the commune to support the construction of new houses. This is an activity in response to the Campaign "Each organization and individual is associated with a humanitarian address" and to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in 2025; to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Newspaper's Traditional Day (April 26, 1947 - April 26, 2025); towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Two disadvantaged households were supported to build new houses, including: Mrs. Mang Dong (38 years old), in Suoi Lau 1 village and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh (63 years old), in Tan Xuong 1 village. Mrs. Mang Dong's current house is dilapidated, leaky, and unsafe for her family during the rainy and stormy season. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh and her grandchildren are living with a neighbor, her husband died of illness, and her daughter died in a traffic accident.

Leaders of Khanh Hoa Newspaper and members of the delegation visited the families' circumstances, surveyed the house construction sites; guided the families to complete documents and procedures to ensure conditions for support in building new houses, helping poor households feel secure and stabilize their lives.

Khanh Hoa Newspaper will use the contribution fund from the collective of cadres, civil servants and employees of the newspaper to support each family with 70 million VND to build a new house; each family will contribute an additional 50 million VND.
