(Dan Tri) - The Ministry of Education and Training has decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as originally announced.
The above information was stated by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in an official dispatch sent to the Departments of Education and Training of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Nghe An and Quang Tri provinces.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training acknowledges and highly appreciates the initiative of the Departments in proposing adjustments to the high school graduation exam schedule to meet practical needs in localities and other real situations.
However, the Ministry decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan, which is June 26-27.
"Keeping the exam schedule as announced will help stabilize the psychology of students and parents and will not affect other activities in the education sector," the document stated.
Previously, as Dan Tri reporter reported, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nghe An, Ninh Binh and Quang Tri proposed to push the high school graduation exam time to early June.
Specifically, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City proposed adjusting the time to organize the high school graduation exam to June 7-10.
Nghe An Department of Education and Training proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training adjust the graduation exam schedule to June 8-10. At the same time, the province will organize the 10th grade entrance exam earlier, on May 25-26, right after the end of the school year.
Localities believe that adjusting the exam schedule earlier will create favorable conditions for localities to stabilize the new administrative apparatus, avoid disruptions in the organization of important exams, and at the same time ensure that the exam organization is safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations.
