Ministry of Education and Training finalizes high school graduation exam schedule for June 26 and 27

The 2025 high school graduation exam will be held on June 26 and 27. Candidates will complete exam registration procedures on June 25.

On March 24, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) issued guidelines for organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam.

This year, there are two groups of candidates participating in the exam, including high school graduates under the 2018 General Education Program (new program) and high school graduates under the 2006 General Education Program.

The exam schedule for candidates graduating from the 2018 General Education Program is as follows:

Candidates can register for the exam and register for high school graduation recognition online.

Candidates taking the graduation exam under the new program must take 4 exams, including: 2 compulsory exams: Math and Literature and 2 optional exams: subjects they have studied at school (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages).

Candidates taking the old program will take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language exams, and one of two Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education).

The exam results will be announced on July 16, one day earlier than last year.
