In recent times, Binh Lieu district has paid great attention to promoting the unique traditional cultural values of ethnic groups. Many experiences and tourism products with "unique qualities" have been created, contributing to positioning the Binh Lieu tourism brand.
This Fall-Winter 2024 tourist season, in addition to short day trips, visitors to Binh Lieu can experience the new rice celebration, culinary arts of Binh Lieu ethnic groups, and a space for performing folk culture of ethnic groups with cuisine, singing, dancing, music, and rituals every Saturday night... These are all activities organized for the first time, taking place this November. "To have more products, we are very interested in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups. In particular, we pay attention to selecting and promoting unique values to serve tourism, increase experiences, and retain tourists" - Ms. To Thi Nga, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Binh Lieu district shared.
Accordingly, in order to have a basis for effectively implementing this work, Binh Lieu district has directed the development of plans, completion and implementation of the task of building cultural villages to serve the development of community tourism associated with the pilot implementation of building, preserving and promoting the cultural values of the province.
Up to now, the district has organized and implemented a number of specific tasks in Ban Cau village (Luc Hon commune), including: Organizing 4 propaganda and training conferences to raise awareness for 100% of the people; establishing a community tourism development management board, a traditional art club; propagating and guiding the people of Ban Cau village and surrounding areas to welcome tourists to experience the culinary culture of the Tay people on the occasion of the new rice celebration. The district is in the process of completing the project content; implementing propaganda and practical work with the project on the cultural villages of the Dao and San Chi people.

The district also pays much attention to implementing tasks and solutions to preserve and promote tangible and intangible cultural heritage associated with serving tourism development and attracting tourists, such as developing a plan to organize the Then Heritage Festival, organizing meetings and exchanges with artisans, awarding decisions to recognize 2 outstanding artisans; exchanging Then singing - Tinh lute with localities inside and outside the province within the framework of the Luc Na communal house festival...
At the same time, the district announced the Decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the folk performing art of singing the song co of the San Chi people; completed the dossier to propose recognition of national intangible cultural heritage for the new rice celebration ritual of the Tay people and the Kien Gio festival (Dong Van commune); coordinated to continue researching, surveying, collecting documents and dossiers to propose intangible cultural heritage: The harvest praying ritual of the San Chi people and the ethnic costumes of the Dao and San Chi people.
In addition, the district actively guides the establishment of more cultural, traditional arts and sports clubs of the Tay, Dao and San Chi ethnic groups at the commune and residential area levels; organizes Binh Lieu culinary cultural space and competitions in processing traditional dishes of ethnic minorities at the district and commune levels; guides a number of food service businesses to register to nominate TOP restaurants and delicious eateries of the locality...
It can be said that the attention to preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups in Binh Lieu is the basis and condition for the birth of many unique tourism products. In particular, many unique cultural features have been selected by the district to become tourism products to welcome international visitors, provincial tourism products.
