Reality has proven that if in the past, management in education was mainly through records and books, now the management of records and books of cadres and teachers has been simplified by IT. The data of the industry has been updated into the software system to make management more convenient. In teaching, in the past, preschool teachers had to work very hard to find images, symbols, and teaching aids, but now teachers can use the internet to proactively exploit rich educational resources for electronic lectures. For primary, secondary, high school levels..., lectures from electronic lesson plans (EAP) in subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography, Literature... have created attraction and multi-dimensional thinking about a problem for both teachers and learners. Therefore, using GAĐT and applying IT and CDS in management, teaching and learning is becoming a requirement and trend in the digital age.
Many years ago, Tay Do Secondary School (Vinh Loc) proactively promoted the application of IT in teaching by equipping classrooms with multi-function projectors; at the same time, encouraging teachers to prepare GAĐT for teaching. However, since implementing the 2018 General Education Program, this task has been widely and synchronously deployed by the school in all educational activities, from digitally signed lesson plans, electronic records to teaching and learning activities.
According to teacher Trinh Trung Chau, principal of the school, to have the infrastructure to serve the application of IT and digital transformation, the school has invested in and connected 4 internet lines (3 lines of VNPT and 1 line of Viettel) to serve the management and administration of finance, human resources, enrollment, and student management; classrooms are installed with smart TVs connected to the Internet.
Internet to serve teaching and learning requirements. Currently, the school is using 11 software in management, administration, teaching and learning, such as industry database software; GAĐT lecture preparation software and electronic learning materials management; student management software; 6th grade enrollment software; English teaching software... In addition, the school has also created and activated 100% of digital signatures for staff and teachers, creating a premise for the smooth implementation of digital transcripts...
Similarly, at Truong Thi B Kindergarten (Thanh Hoa City), in recent years, the school has gradually standardized conditions to promote IT application and implement digital transformation such as: Internet transmission system; installation of large-screen smart TVs in classrooms and professional rooms to ensure teaching and learning requirements as well as management work. In particular, the school has equipped KISMAT classrooms to help children's lessons become more vivid and intuitive, and help children get acquainted with computers, thereby making lessons more exciting and effective than the usual visual method.
It is known that in order to achieve high results in applying IT and digital transformation in schools, in addition to investing in facilities and participating in specialized training sessions, Truong Thi B Kindergarten also proactively invited experts in the field of IT to train and guide the use of software systems and professional implementation processes so that each staff and teacher can understand and operate easily. Up to now, 100% of the school's teachers are proficient in using IT and digital transformation in teaching. In addition, the school has also built information communication channels such as Zalo, internal information systems, fanpages, websites, etc. to act as a bridge of information on the digital transformation journey in response to industry requirements.
The application of IT and digital transformation is being strongly implemented by schools in the province with many practical solutions from investment in facilities, human resources to the application of software in management and teaching. Internet by fiber optic cable for professional activities; cadres and teachers basically meet the requirements of basic IT skills, skills in using software for management, teaching and learning as well as information and data security skills. Software such as VnEdu, Smas, Misa, electronic contact books... are being applied synchronously and effectively by the industry. However, there are still difficulties and challenges in the digital transformation process of the industry when the infrastructure and IT human resources are still limited. This also means that each educational institution, each cadre and teacher needs to be more determined and make greater efforts, along with attention and investment from the Party Committee, government, and functional sectors to build a digital educational environment in the digital age towards comprehensive and sustainable development.
