On the afternoon of January 24, at the headquarters of the Central Economic Commission, a conference was held to implement the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Pham Dai Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission. 
Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Luu Quang presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Mr. Pham Dai Duong on his appointment as Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Luu Quang emphasized that Mr. Pham Dai Duong is a cadre with basic and specialized training, accumulating a lot of experience and practical experience during his time working in the locality.
Mr. Tran Luu Quang also expressed his belief that Mr. Pham Dai Duong will continue to promote his strengths, share, unite and work together with the leadership of the Central Economic Committee to achieve the common goal. The leadership of the Central Economic Committee is committed to creating all favorable conditions for Mr. Pham Dai Duong to complete his tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony to receive the assignment, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Pham Dai Duong expressed his emotion and honor to be assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission. Mr. Duong affirmed that he will cultivate, study, research, and unite with the collective leadership and staff of the Central Economic Commission to strive to fulfill the assigned tasks to the highest level.
Mr. Pham Dai Duong (51 years old), hometown: Dong Ngac Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City; Master's degree in science and technology management, bachelor's degree in chemistry, bachelor's degree in finance - banking.
Mr. Pham Dai Duong started out as an officer of the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board (Ministry of Science and Technology); then held many positions as Deputy Head, then Head of the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board. In October 2015, Mr. Duong was appointed Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.
Since August 2018, he has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee. In November 2020, he was elected as Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee. Since the 13th National Party Congress (January 2021) to present, Mr. Pham Dai Duong has been elected to the Party Central Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Yen Province.
After the reorganization, the Central Economic Committee has Mr. Tran Luu Quang as its Head. The four Deputy Heads include: Mr. Thai Thanh Quy (Permanent Deputy Head); Pham Dai Duong; Nguyen Duy Hung; Nguyen Hong Son.
