BHG - Within the framework of the Spring Meeting between the Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of 4 border provinces of Vietnam and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) in Quang Ninh province, on the afternoon of February 20, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, had a bilateral meeting with Comrade Tran Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) Tran Cuong were pleased to see that the good traditional friendship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and China in general and the provinces of Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Guangxi in particular are increasingly developing well and becoming more substantial, especially in the fields of trade, people-to-people exchange, building a peaceful and developed border.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized: The Spring Meeting Program between the Provincial Party Secretaries of 4 Vietnamese provinces and the Party Secretary of Guangxi, China is the highest cooperation mechanism in the relationship between localities of Vietnam and China, which has been established and maintained by the parties since 2016; receiving the attention and strong support of the senior leaders of the two countries.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh affirmed: In recent years, implementing the Joint Communique between the Secretaries of Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang provinces (Vietnam) and the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) at the annual Spring Meeting, the cooperative relationship between Ha Giang province and Guangxi province has achieved important results, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, stable and developed border.

Congratulating the great achievements that Guangxi province has achieved in recent years, especially in the development of science and technology, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that Guangxi province will help Ha Giang province train human resources and transfer technology in this field.

In order for the relationship between Ha Giang province and Guangxi province to continuously develop and become more substantial, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will pay attention to and coordinate to direct the implementation of a number of contents: According to the spirit of the Vietnam - China Joint Statement, 2025 is the "Year of Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange" and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations, the two sides will continue to thoroughly implement the common perceptions reached between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam - China, together promote the implementation of delegation exchanges at all levels, organize friendly exchange activities well, enhance understanding and mutual trust, and spread friendship between the people of the two sides.
Continue to thoroughly implement the three legal documents on the Vietnam-China land border; direct the functional forces of both sides to promptly coordinate and properly handle incidents arising on the border.
Focus on promoting the early official opening of the Lung Lan (Ha Giang, Vietnam) - Long Binh (Guangxi, China) border crossing and market at landmark 504 of the Vietnam - China border.
Quickly and effectively implement the agreement on cooperation in training cadres between the Provincial Party Committees of the four border provinces of Vietnam and the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; continue to implement the scholarship programs of the two sides. Guangxi Province continues to pay attention to and support the transfer of science and technology in planting, processing and consuming agricultural products suitable to the climate and soil of Ha Giang Province.
To deepen the cooperative and exchange relationship in the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh invited the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) and the leaders of Guangxi Province to visit Ha Giang Province as soon as possible. Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Tran Cuong happily accepted the invitation.
Speaking at the meeting, the Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee was very pleased with the suggestions of the Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh and promised to direct the relevant agencies to closely coordinate with the relevant departments of Ha Giang province to implement the contents of the agreement signed by the two sides in the coming time, especially in the field of science and technology development such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
The Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee respectfully invited Provincial Party Secretary Hou A Lenh to visit Guangxi Province soon. Provincial Party Secretary Hou A Lenh happily accepted the invitation.
Next, the Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and the Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of Quang Ninh, Ha Giang, Cao Bang and Lang Son planted a memorial tree named "Friendship Tree" at Lan Be Park, Ha Long City.
