DTO - On the afternoon of February 21, the My Dong Commune Party Committee held a preparatory session for the 14th Congress of the My Dong Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. This is the Party Committee selected by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to organize a model congress at the grassroots level to direct and gain experience in organizing grassroots party congresses in the province. Attending the preparatory session of the Congress were representatives of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; permanent representatives of district and city party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee of Thap Muoi District and 87 delegates who are party members of party cells directly under the My Dong Commune Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Congress Secretary and the Delegate Qualification Review Board. At the same time, the working program, internal rules and regulations of the Congress were approved; the election regulations within the Party, the principles and procedures for the election of the My Dong Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress was divided into 3 discussion groups to contribute ideas to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the documents of the 11th Thap Muoi District Party Congress and the documents of the My Dong Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Delegates voted to approve a number of important contents at the Congress preparatory session.
According to the working program, the 14th Congress of the My Dong Commune Party Committee will take place over 2 days (February 21-22, 2025). Tomorrow morning (February 22), the Congress of the My Dong Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term will officially open. The Congress will evaluate the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Commune Party Congress; Report on the review of the leadership and management of the Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; elect the 14th My Dong Commune Party Committee Executive Committee and elect the Delegation to attend the Party Congress at a higher level.
