The city leaders visited 20 cases of meritorious people who are wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, and relatives of martyrs in An My ward. On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of the city, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Lan expressed her deep gratitude to the blood sacrifices of heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers in the resistance war against the invaders so that the people can have a peaceful, independent and free life today.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, the city leaders presented gifts and sent wishes of good health to wounded soldiers and relatives of those with meritorious services, hoping that the previous generation of fathers and brothers would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition and always be a shining example for today's young generation to learn and follow.
