(Dan Tri) - To have money to spend, the two sisters rented a hotel room in Dak Lak to both live and sell sex.

On December 22, Buon Ma Thuot City Police, Dak Lak Province, confirmed the temporary detention of three suspects involved in a sophisticated prostitution operation that took place right in a hotel. These suspects are being investigated for prostitution and prostitution brokerage.

Those detained include Nguyen Thi Thanh Thanh (55 years old, residing in Buon Ma Thuot city); Lang Thi Luu (43 years old) and Lang Thi Thuong (34 years old), both residing in Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province. Luu and Thuong are two sisters.

According to initial investigation information, in May, Luu and Thuong went to Dak Lak to find work. After that, the two sisters went to Elisa Hotel (Tan Lap Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) and met Thanh, the hotel manager, to negotiate renting a room for prostitution activities.

Luu and Thuong introduced themselves to Thanh as prostitutes and wanted to rent a permanent room for their business. When a customer contacted them, they would guide them to the Elisa Hotel to rent a room, which would also help increase the hotel's revenue.

Thanh agreed and rented the room to the two sisters for 120,000 VND/day to operate. In June, two other girls also came to Thanh to propose renting a permanent room for similar activities and Thanh approved.

During their operations, the girls charge guests 300,000-500,000 VND per visit and 1-2 million VND for overnight stays. They charge guests about 150,000 VND for a room. When there are many male guests, the Luu sisters will broker the call for other girls to come to the hotel to sell sex.

On the afternoon of December 20, when Luu, Thuong and another girl were performing prostitution at the Elisa hotel, they were caught red-handed by the police.
