(Dan Tri) - The Deputy Minister of Health said that the National Quality Gold Award is a testament to the efforts of the hospital staff in continuously improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services.
On the evening of December 18, the National Quality Awards Ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, took place in Hanoi.
At the event, Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) was honored to receive the National Quality Gold Award 2024. This is a special milestone as for the first time, a public hospital in Vietnam has achieved this title.
Regarding the above achievements of Cho Ray Hospital, Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc, Deputy Minister of Health, said that this award is a testament to the efforts of the hospital's medical staff in constantly improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services, optimizing management processes and building a comprehensive care environment for patients.
This is also the driving force that helps Cho Ray Hospital to make more and more breakthroughs in the future, contributing to the development of Vietnamese medicine.

In the coming time, Cho Ray Hospital plans to continue implementing initiatives to optimize treatment processes, develop human resources and promote scientific research activities.
Previously, on January 31, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 132/QD-TTg to award the "National Quality Gold Award 2024" to Cho Ray Hospital. This is a prestigious award presented annually to honor organizations and businesses that excel in quality management and innovation.
To achieve the Gold Award (the highest level), units are required to meet many strict criteria on management capacity, operational efficiency and people's satisfaction.
The award is implemented according to the provisions of the Law on Product, Goods and Service Quality and belongs to the Asia-Pacific International Award system (GPEA) of the Asia-Pacific Quality Organization, from 1999 to present.
