This morning (January 5), a representative of the People's Committee of Huong Son commune (Tan Ky, Nghe An) said that the unit is in the process of finding relatives for a 4-month-old boy who was abandoned on a cold night.

At around 11pm on January 4, a resident of Tan Hong hamlet (Huong Son commune) discovered a 4-month-old baby boy abandoned on the side of the road in the middle of a cold night. The incident was reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities of Huong Son commune came to complete the procedures to receive the child and take him to the commune health station to warm him up and check his health.

At the time of discovery, the baby boy was wearing a white and yellow sweater, brown sweatpants, a yellow hat, wrapped in a wool blanket, with a bottle of still warm milk and some personal belongings.

"We temporarily handed the baby over to the commune health station for care. People discovered the baby and were planning to adopt him. We have notified them to find relatives for the baby. If after 7 days the family does not come to claim the baby, we will proceed with the adoption procedures according to the law," said a representative of the People's Committee of Huong Son commune.
