The Provincial Border Guard held a conference to review 1 year of implementing the Regulations on military ideological management, grasping and orienting public opinion.

On the morning of June 22, the Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to review one year of implementing the Regulations on ideological management of soldiers, grasping and orienting public opinion in the Provincial Border Guard. Colonel Phan Truong Son, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard chaired the conference.

After 1 year of implementing the Regulation, Party committees, commanders at all levels and officers and soldiers in the Provincial Border Guard have had many positive changes in awareness, consciousness, responsibility, correctly identifying the purpose and significance of implementing the Regulation on "Work on managing military ideology, grasping and orienting public opinion in the Vietnam People's Army"; the discipline, regime of management, evaluation, classification, reporting, notification, orientation, and experience drawing on the work of managing military ideology, grasping and orienting public opinion have been seriously implemented; the content, form, and implementation measures have had many innovations, achieving practical results. Officers and soldiers have a steadfast, firm, united, unified political stance, actively cultivating, training, and striving to fulfill assigned tasks well.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Phan Truong Son praised and acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee, commanders, officers and soldiers of the units in the past time. He requested that the Party Committees and commanders of the units in the coming time must regularly implement the Regulations; maintain serious and orderly political education work; strictly manage the ideological situation and discipline, promote the sense of responsibility, maintain and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Be close, respectful, and listen to the opinions of officers and soldiers in the unit, the thoughts and public opinions of the people in the area; do not let passive and unexpected ideological situations arise; replicate good and creative ways of doing things, and advanced examples. Thereby, creating motivation to contribute to building a Party organization that successfully and excellently completes its tasks, a strong and comprehensive unit that is "Exemplary and typical", and excellently completes its assigned tasks.
