Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee summarizes work in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the work of Party building and rectification in the entire Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee continued to be focused on and strengthened. The Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee led and directed the successful organization of the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term, the Congress of 1 grassroots Party cell and 1 grassroots Party Committee.

The Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee coordinated with the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group to lead units to produce 10 million tons of coal in the first quarter, of which units under the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee contributed 5 million tons of coal production, reaching 26% of the yearly plan; the state budget contribution in Quang Ninh reached nearly 5,000 billion VND, reaching 28.7% of the yearly plan, up 7% over the same period.

In the second quarter of 2025, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee determined to direct units in the entire Party Committee to continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system, innovate methods, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group to lead the implementation of production and business targets, contributing to the economic growth target of Quang Ninh province in 2025. In particular, in the second quarter of 2025, the entire Group strives to produce 10.1 million tons of coal, the accumulated production and business targets in the first 6 months of the year reached 53% of the annual plan.

Many collectives received awards from the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee for their achievements in inspection and supervision work for the 2020-2025 term.

Also this afternoon, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee held a conference to review the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement for the 2020-2025 term. Based on the assessment of the results achieved and lessons and experiences from the past term, in the new term 2025-2030, the Quang Ninh Party Committee determined to continue implementing many tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work. The focus is on coordinating with the Group's Party Committee and local Party committees to strengthen inspection and supervision in the management of coal and mineral resources, as well as some areas prone to negativity such as procurement of materials and equipment, personnel work, and cost management. At the same time, replicate good models and practices at the grassroots level in self-inspection, self-detection and handling of violations. Proactively grasp the situation, strengthen thematic supervision, and inspect when there are signs of violations against Party organizations and Party members to prevent small violations from becoming major violations and mistakes.
