Xiaomi is a company headquartered in Beijing, China, whose main business is the production of smartphones. By the third quarter of 2024, Xiaomi said that the company's electric vehicle business had exceeded expectations, with revenue from smart electric vehicles and new initiatives reaching 9.7 billion yuan, with a gross profit margin of 17.1%. The company delivered 39,790 Xiaomi SU7 Series vehicles during the period. As of September, Xiaomi had a sales network of 127 smart electric vehicle centers in 38 cities. In October, monthly deliveries exceeded 20,000 vehicles, and the tech company reached a cumulative output of 100,000 vehicles in mid-November. Lei Jun announced a new target of 120,000 Xiaomi SU7 Series electric vehicles sold in 2024, compared to the original plan of 76,000 vehicles.
