Due to emotional conflicts, H. used a gun to shoot and threaten his lover to commit suicide by drinking weed killer.
On November 25, a leader of the Dak Mil District People's Procuracy (Dak Nong Province) said that the Dak Mil District Police Department is investigating and verifying the case of a man using a gun to force another person to drink poison to commit suicide in a motel.
According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on November 22, PNH (39 years old, residing in Dak Song district, Dak Nong province) and Ms. NTNL (30 years old, residing in Ea H'leo district, Dak Lak province) went to a motel in Dak Mil town (Dak Mil district) to rent a room. When entering the room, H. brought a gun (a pistol, firing lead bullets), a knife, and a green plastic bottle (suspected to be burning weed medicine).
Here, H. threatened Ms. L. with a gun and a knife, forcing her to drink medicine from a blue plastic bottle. Too scared, Ms. L. opened the plastic bottle, poured the solution into the cap, took a sip but spit it out immediately. Seeing that, H. fired a shot, so Ms. L. ran into the bathroom. At this time, H. kicked the door open and shot, hitting Ms. L. in the hand.

Hearing the cry for help, the motel owner opened the door and Ms. L. ran out and was taken to the emergency room by everyone. H. barricaded herself in the motel room and took medicine from a blue plastic bottle. Immediately after, H. was subdued by Dak Mil town police and taken to the emergency room.
The initial cause was determined to be due to emotional conflicts between H. and Ms. L.
