The estimated construction time for road repair is about two months, to be completed in February 2025.
On December 6, according to the Dong Nai Department of Transport, Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company announced the overhaul of the approach road to Thu Bien Bridge connecting Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces. The repair location is the section in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai.
The Thu Bien bridge approach road is now severely degraded.
The approach road to Thu Bien bridge is nearly 0.5km long, connecting provincial road 768 with the bridge. This road section belongs to the provincial road 768 BOT project invested by Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company.
According to Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company, the road leading to the bridge is designed with a speed of 80km/h. At the intersection between the road leading to the bridge and provincial road 768, speed bumps are arranged to reduce the speed to 50 - 60km/h.
This road surface is damaged, the asphalt does not ensure the horizontal slope, the construction unit will clean the existing old road surface, water the sticky asphalt, compensate for the warping and reinforce the asphalt concrete with a 5cm thick layer.
In areas where the road surface has potholes, subsidence, structural damage, or cracks, the construction unit will dig up the old structure, spread layers of crushed stone, apply adhesive asphalt, and asphalt concrete...
The construction progress is expected to last 60 days starting today (December 6) and is expected to be completed on February 6, 2025. The section leading to Thu Bien Bridge has been degraded and damaged for a long time, with many voters continuously petitioning.
