The railway industry is urgently repairing the railway section through Vinh Linh (Quang Tri) damaged by floodwaters after storm No. 6 to soon reopen the route.

Previously, on October 27, heavy rains caused by storm No. 6 caused floodwaters to rise and overflow the Thong Nhat railway line in Quang Tri province. To ensure train safety, railway units blocked the Sa Lung - Tien An section and organized passenger transfers from Dong Ha station (Quang Binh) to Dong Hoi station (Quang Binh) and vice versa.
