Mr. Ha Xuan Tung, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), announced the decisions on reorganizing two press agencies into Dan Tri newspaper from November 1, 2023; regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Dan Tri newspaper, as well as decisions on personnel work.
Dan Tri Newspaper has 3 Deputy Editors-in-Chief, including: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang.

"A very important event"
Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, affirmed that this is a very important event for the Ministry, the press and the industry.
"This can also be said to be a milestone, marking the arrangement, organization, and creation of a foundation for the newspaper to develop; for the industry to operate more effectively and with better quality," Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
To reach today's decision, the head of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that the Ministry's leaders had listened, discussed and answered concerns at many meetings over the past two years.

"This demonstrates the strong determination of the leaders of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for the benefit of the industry, towards the higher goal of Dan Tri newspaper becoming a modern and professional media group," said the Minister.
Emphasizing that the newspaper will enter a new period with higher requirements, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stated: " Dan Tri Newspaper must aim for three goals: People's livelihood, people's knowledge and people's feelings; contributing to the noble mission of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs as the embodiment of humanity, love, and care for social issues."
To do that, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung hopes that the first thing the newspaper must do is pay attention to performing its functions and tasks well, properly implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies. In particular, pay special attention to the functions of propaganda, education, encouragement and motivation; arousing the desire to contribute, moving towards the goal of each citizen having a better life, "leaving no one behind".
In addition to the request to reorganize the organization and apparatus appropriately, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung also requested Dan Tri newspaper to take good care of its staff and workers; build sharp and dedicated writers; build a clean and strong Party organization and mass organizations that are closely connected with the functional units of the Ministry, the industry and society.
The Minister also requested that Dan Tri newspaper reflect more of the good things in society. "I hope the newspaper will always convey strong messages, bright messages to society," Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam assessed this as an important event for the press.
