(NLDO) - Nghe An province requests that authorities promptly clarify the cause of the accident at the cement factory that killed 3 people.
On January 25, Mr. Bui Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, urgently directed the People's Committee of Anh Son district to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently organize rescue work; promptly visit, encourage and support the families of the victims.
In addition, the Provincial Police Department is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Anh Son District People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently investigate the incident, resolve construction incidents, labor accidents, and technical incidents causing unsafety and labor hygiene in accordance with regulations.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested Song Lam 2 Cement Joint Stock Company to focus on coordinating in rescue work; coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve the incident in accordance with regulations.
The area where the accident occurred that killed 3 workers
Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on the afternoon of January 24, when a group of workers were cleaning in a cement silo kiln, they suddenly had an accident and died. At more than 6 p.m. the same day, the bodies of the three victims were found and taken out. The identities of the deceased victims were determined to be: Mr. NHN (born in 1976), Mr. TVH (born in 1970), both residing in Phuc Son commune; Mr. TBM (born in 1971, residing in Hoa Son commune). All three victims were workers at Song Lam 2 Cement Joint Stock Company.
Regarding the above accident, the People's Committee of Anh Son district has issued a quick report on the work accident. Specifically, according to the report, at 3:15 p.m. on January 24, Mr. NHN and Mr. TVH were assigned by the factory to replace the aerodynamic trough fabric. At the same time, Mr. TBM finished his shift and negotiated with the cleaning contractor in the cement silo kiln. During the process, a sudden phenomenon of cement mortar slipping occurred, leading to all 3 people being buried and killed.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
