Accordingly, in the project "Developing Hanoi Medical University into a national key university among the top in Asia", this school will be invested and developed into a national key school in the field of health with at least 5 affiliated hospitals meeting international standards by 2035.
"The project aims that by 2035, each training facility of Hanoi Medical University will have a main practice facility. The mission of the school and the practice facilities is to ensure human resources for the health system, thereby contributing to ensuring health security," said Professor Tu.
Currently, Hanoi Medical University has Hanoi Medical University Hospital located on campus, along with two polyclinics in Cau Giay and Hoang Mai districts.
This is a place for medical examination and treatment to serve the people, and at the same time, it is an experimental facility for students to develop their professional capacity. Hanoi Medical University also has a branch in Thanh Hoa and plans to build a facility in Bac Ninh.

With the signing of more than 13 practice facilities, including the Central Acupuncture Hospital; Central Traditional Medicine Hospital; Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital; Tam Anh General Hospital; Ha Dong General Hospital; Lao Cai Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital; Hanoi Eye Hospital, Facility 2; Dong Do Hospital... students of Hanoi Medical University will have more choices of practice facilities. Up to now, the school has signed with 50 practice facilities nationwide.
Hanoi Medical University has a history of 123 years. The current university training scale is about 8,000. Last year, the highest admission score was 28.83/30. This is a training facility for high-quality medical human resources, providing human resources for the entire national health system.
The school's goal is to be in the top 100 universities in Asia, the 801-1,000 group in the world by 2035, and have at least two subject groups in the top 150. Currently, the school is ranked in the 501-600 group in the world for health sciences by Times Higher Education.
