In the letter, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wrote: "Tens of millions of football fans and Vietnamese people are very happy and excited to witness the national men's U17 football team compete resiliently and excellently, winning important points against strong teams in the continent such as Australia and the current U17 Asian champion Japan, opening up great opportunities at the U17 Asian Finals and also the qualifying round for the 2025 U17 World Cup.
This is a very impressive result, demonstrating the constant efforts, solidarity, enthusiasm and brave heart, determination not to retreat in the face of difficulties and always giving their all for the national men's U17 football team's colors.

On behalf of the Government, I would like to express my warmest appreciation and gratitude to the coaching staff, players, support staff and those who have accompanied the team, including the important tactical leadership role of head coach Cristiano Roland."
The Prime Minister hopes and believes that the coaching staff and players will prepare well, have appropriate tactical plans, compete with the highest concentration and determination, with "a warm heart, a cool head", unite to achieve the best results, affirming the development of Vietnamese football in particular and regional football in general; at the same time, opening up many development opportunities for the country's football in the coming time.
"The people of the whole country, especially the country's football fans, including myself, always accompany, cheer and support Vietnamese football in general, and Vietnamese youth football in particular, to develop more and more strongly and achieve more outstanding achievements" - the Prime Minister encouraged.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wished Head Coach Cristiano Roland and the entire U17 Vietnam team good health, success, excellent performance and continued victories to bring glory to the country.
The final match of Group B of the 2025 AFC U17 Championship between Vietnam U17 and UAE will take place at 10:00 p.m. today, the same time as the match between Japan U17 and Australia.
