Sports website Sports Mole predicts that Vietnam will beat Indonesia 2-1 in the second match of Group D, Asian Cup 2023 today.
"The two teams are of equal quality, but coach Philippe Troussier's experience in major tournaments could give Vietnam a slight advantage in this match," Sports Mole wrote in its match review, predicting a 2-1 score for Vietnam.

Coach Troussier has led many teams such as Ivory Coast, Nigeria, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Qatar, Morocco, Japan and now Vietnam. The 69-year-old coach helped Japan win the 2000 Asian Cup, then continued to compete in the next tournament with Qatar. He also took Burkina Faso to the semi-finals of the 1998 African Cup of Nations, their best result at that time.
Coach Shin Tae-yong, 54, has not had experience in many countries like Troussier, when he first worked in Korea and Indonesia. He led Korea to a win over Germany in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup, but the team was still eliminated early.
