"The Harmony of the Country"

On the morning of February 24 (ie the 15th day of the first lunar month of the year of Giap Thin) at Lam Son Theater (Thanh Hoa City), the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day - 2024 took place in Thanh Hoa with the theme "The Harmony of the Country". The program was organized by the Provincial Literature and Arts Association in coordination with a number of sectors and units, attracting the participation of many poets, artists and poetry lovers.

On the 15th day of the first lunar month in 2003, at the Temple of Literature (Hanoi), Vietnam Poetry Day was held for the first time. Previously, in the spring of the year of the Rat 1948, also on this day, beloved Uncle Ho composed the poem "Nguyen Tieu" which was both romantic and imbued with world affairs, human feelings, and his feelings for the country and the people.

Attending the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day - 2024 in Thanh Hoa, Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: "True poetry makes people live with personality, have dreams, ambitions, and constantly strive for truth - goodness - beauty. In recent times, Thanh Hoa poets have worked to create art with a high spirit and sense of responsibility. Many works of poets have been welcomed by readers of all classes and spread in the community, contributing to making the cultural and spiritual life of the people increasingly rich. Poetry has actively participated and made significant contributions to the construction and development of the cultural and social foundation of Thanh Hoa homeland".

From that meaning, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, poets and artists continue to develop strongly, create many quality works to affirm their position, create a spreading power, and blend with the poetry, readers and people of the whole country. Each poetic work must be affirmed and recognized in the field of literature and arts of Thanh land in the new period; it is a message to promote the image of the land and people of Thanh land.

At the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day - 2024, many poems praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the country, homeland, mountains and rivers... were sent to the public by poets and artists.

With the theme "The Harmony of the Country", Vietnam Poetry Day is an opportunity for poets and artists to meet, exchange, encourage and motivate each other to strive to create, contribute, and create poetic works to beautify life, honor poets and poetic works. Thereby, gradually turning Vietnam Poetry Day into a festival for poets and poetry lovers, especially in the first days of the new year. Thereby contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
