Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Saint Petersburg Sports Congress (Congress), Comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the Congress Organizing Committee for giving Dien Bien the valuable opportunity to attend and speak at this event of international significance. At the same time, he emphasized that this is one of the practical activities to concretize the content of the Cooperation Agreement signed between Dien Bien province and Saint Petersburg city on November 29, 2024. This is also an opportunity for Dien Bien to learn from experience, expand cooperation and connect with international partners in the field of sports and other fields. Dien Bien is always ready to welcome sports delegations, investors, and partners of Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation to Dien Bien province to cooperate and develop for a progressive sport, together for sustainable development, contributing to spreading the values ​​of culture, physical education, sports and connecting the people between the two localities, for friendship and peace. He believes that the Congress will bring many practical values ​​to Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation and participating countries, localities and organizations.

Delegates exchange on the sidelines of the Congress

From April 15, 2025 to April 20, 2025, the Delegation will work with the Saint Petersburg Tourism Development Committee on cooperation in developing culture, tourism and preparing for the organization of "Dien Bien Cultural Day in Saint Petersburg".
