The houses built and handed over this time were built in early 2024, from the "Great Unity" house building program mobilized by the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Ca Mau province with support from Ca Mau Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., with a total cost of more than 5 billion VND (50 million/house).
Priority beneficiaries for housing support are lottery ticket vendors in 101 communes, wards and towns in Ca Mau province who are facing housing difficulties.
The house is designed to be relatively sturdy with a corrugated iron roof, brick floor, steel frame..., ensuring protection from rain, sun and storms.
The representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province said that with more than 100 houses handed over this time, it has contributed to basically solving the immediate housing needs of local lottery ticket vendors who are facing housing difficulties but do not have money to build houses. This also contributes to gradually eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses that do not ensure shelter from the rain and sun in Ca Mau.
At the house handover locations, representatives of Ca Mau Lottery Company Limited also presented many gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances who sell lottery tickets, as a way of sharing and showing gratitude from the wholesale lottery ticket seller to the individual lottery ticket seller.
Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Chairman of Ca Mau Lottery Company Limited said: “After this handover of 101 houses, our company will continue to support houses for lottery ticket sellers who are facing housing difficulties but do not have a foundation to build a house. Thereby, contributing to helping lottery ticket sellers have a stable place to live and improve their lives.”
