Following the direction from the Central Government and Cao Bang province, the Provincial Ethnic Committee is continuing to promote propaganda, dissemination of legal education and mobilization of ethnic minorities according to Content No. 2 of Sub-project 1, Project 10 of Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg. Over the past years, from the directives, resolutions and policies of the Party and State related to children, we have achieved many positive results in the work of protecting and caring for children, solving urgent problems for children. However, at present, children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas still face many problems that need to be solved, such as malnutrition, violence, accidents and injuries... Regarding this issue, the Ethnic and Development Newspaper had an interview with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights. Implementing phase I: from 2021-2025, the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas (abbreviated as National Target Program 1719), Nghe An has achieved many positive results in the fields of life, socio-economy, infrastructure... Since the beginning of the year, the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Cao Bang province has coordinated to organize 06 conferences to propagate, disseminate legal education and mobilize ethnic minorities according to Content No. 2 of Sub-project 1, Project 10 of Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg. Since the beginning of the year, 16 conferences have been organized in Thach An and Trung Khanh districts with 1,316 participants, and Nguyen Binh district with 432 participants.
Accordingly, the Provincial Ethnic Committee has coordinated with press agencies, Radio and Television to organize propaganda content with more than 100 topics, 19 columns, 05 video reports, 04 summary news bulletins...
In the last months of 2024, the Cao Bang Provincial Ethnic Committee will continue to coordinate with press agencies, radio and television stations to promote communication, propaganda and information on the implementation of projects under the National Target Program 1719 to ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.
