Long An Province's 515 Steering Committee visits Team K73 on duty in Cambodia

Long An Province's 515 Steering Committee burns incense for martyrs' remains at the Vietnamese martyrs' remains storage house in Pailin Province.

On March 23, a working delegation of the Long An Provincial Steering Committee 515 led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 - Pham Tan Hoa visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Team K73 (Long An Provincial Military Command) who are performing the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in the provinces of Pailin, Battambang and Svay Rieng (Kingdom of Cambodia).

Reporting to the delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Chi Cong - Captain of Team K73 said that in the second phase, phase 24 (dry season 2024 - 2025), after nearly two months of duty, Team K73 searched for and collected 24 sets of martyrs' remains in the provinces of Pailin and Svay Rieng.

Currently, Unit 2 of Team K73 is continuing to move to Battambang province to expand the search area. Despite facing extremely harsh weather conditions, heat of nearly 40 degrees Celsius, lack of domestic and drinking water, and many difficulties in daily life, officers and soldiers of Team K73 still maintain their determination and strive to complete their sacred mission.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa acknowledged, encouraged and praised the sense of responsibility and the will to overcome difficulties of the officers and soldiers of Team K73. Thereby, he requested that the officers and soldiers of Team K73 continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and loyalty to the assigned tasks .

Mr. Pham Tan Hoa also emphasized and requested that the Team Command should pay attention to properly resolving the regime and policies for officers and soldiers. At the same time, closely coordinate with the people and authorities at all levels, and functional forces of Cambodia in collecting and verifying information about martyrs' graves.

Each officer and soldier must absolutely comply with the laws of the host country, respect customs and traditional culture, and maintain solidarity with the Cambodian government, armed forces and people./.
