The 22nd Manhunt International male beauty pageant will take place in Bangkok (Thailand) from May 18 to 27.

Doctor Huynh Vo Hoang Son, from Ho Chi Minh City, 1.85m tall, represents Vietnam in this contest.

Pressure when competing in the international male pageant for the second time

This is the second time Dr. Huynh Vo Hoang Son has competed in the international Mister Contest.

Hoang Son said he was quite nervous and tense when participating in Manhunt International .

To become a representative of Vietnam, he underwent a serious training process to increase his endurance and at the same time train his body to be toned.

Huynh Vo Hoang Son told Tuoi Tre Online: "After winning the title of Miss Universe Tourism 2023 , life has not changed much.

However, the concept of life changes when carrying the responsibility of being a public figure, how to contribute to the community, is also a burden.

When participating in the Manhunt International contest, this burden increased. I am more conscious of maintaining my image and contributing more to society."

He added that at first he thought that working at the hospital and competing in the Mister King contest were unrelated. But when he won the title, working with a new title was like adding a new breeze to his work.

Hoang Son said that this time he went to the international competition, he was supported and facilitated by the board of directors of Military Hospital 175.

Sometimes there are conflicts between being a doctor and an artist, but he still chose to pursue medicine.

"The modeling and male king jobs complement the work of a doctor. No matter what I do, I still choose medicine as my main field.

Participating in male pageants is a responsibility, I have the duty to be worthy of that title" - Hoang Son emphasized.

Manhunt International 2024 contest with 50 contestants from around the world.

The competition will take place from May 16 to 27 in Bangkok, Thailand. The finale will take place on the evening of May 26.

This is one of the prestigious beauty contests, held since 1993. Previously, Vietnam also had excellent faces achieving high results in this contest.

"Vietnam planned to host Manhunt International in 2018 and 2023 but it could not take place. I am hoping to bring this contest to Vietnam in the near future," said the president of Manhunt Vietnam .
